OSRS Herblore Guide: 1-99 Training/Profitable/Fast EXP:
Herblore in OSRS offers a laid-back and comfortable experience, but it can also lead to great rewards. Crafting your own potions can prove advantageous for wilderness battles and boss fights, saving you a significant amount of money in the process.
Efficient training in this skill can be expensive, but fear not! With the help of this OSRS Herblore guide, you can train effectively regardless of your budget.
While purchasing your own herbs, cleaning them, and filling up bottles may be cost-effective, those with more funds can opt for buying unfinished potions directly from the Grand Exchange for a quicker training experience. The small differences in approach can either save you a substantial amount of money or boost your experience gains.
Amulet of chemistry:
The Amulet of Chemistry is a jade amulet that has been enchanted with the level 2 enchantment spell. Wearing it provides a 5% chance of receiving an extra dose while brewing potions, but it will crumble to dust after five charges.
It is highly recommended to use this amulet when brewing potions that are worth more than the cost of one amulet per five doses. This can save you millions on your journey to level 99.
To avoid losing the amulet’s effect, it is advisable to switch it out before it breaks. While it can be a hassle to replace the amulet every five uses, it can significantly reduce the cost of crafting higher-level potions.
Efficient banking:
Achieving the highest experience rates in this skill depends on fast banking. Fortunately, with a recent bank update, this has become much easier, rendering the use of mouse keys or scripts largely unnecessary.
To take advantage of this update, open your bank and locate the “Quantity” section at the bottom. Choose the X option and right-click to select “Set custom amount.” For potion-making, set the quantity to 14, and for herb-cleaning, set it to 28.
This method enables you to bank more effectively. Simply left-click on both items to withdraw the perfect amount, saving you precious seconds that will add up during hours of training towards level 99.
Herblore Missions:
You can earn some easy Herblore experience by completing several missions. In fact, you can reach levels 1-19 without even crafting a single potion!
To achieve this, you’ll need to complete the following quests in order: Druid Ritual, Jungle Potion, Recruitment Drive, and The Dig Site. Here is a list of all the OSRS quests that provide Herblore experience.

Cleaning herbs:
Although it may be click-intensive, cleaning herbs can be a lucrative and efficient method to train Herblore. While it does require an initial investment in the cost of herbs, the potential profits and decent experience rates make it worth considering.
With the release of OSRS on mobile devices, cleaning herbs has become even more accessible and convenient. The touchscreen interface of mobile devices makes it easier to click quickly and accurately, reducing the strain on your fingers and improving your efficiency.
Additionally, cleaning herbs can be an excellent way to earn some extra cash on the side. You can sell the cleaned herbs for a profit or use them to craft your own potions for even more profit. With some research and market knowledge, you can make smart investments in herbs to maximize your profits and experience gains.
Overall, while cleaning herbs may not be the most exciting method to train Herblore, it can be a viable and profitable option to consider, especially if you’re looking for a more relaxed training method that doesn’t require constant attention.

Skill cape:
Congratulations on achieving the coveted 99 Herblore skill level! You should feel proud of your accomplishment, as it wasn’t an easy feat to achieve. Now that you’ve reached the pinnacle of Herblore, it’s time to reap the rewards.
To claim your well-deserved Skillcape and hood, head over to Kaqemeex in Taverly and fork over the 99,000 coins required for the purchase. The Skillcape not only serves as a testament to your hard work and dedication but also provides some useful perks.
While wearing the cape, you can search it anytime to receive a pestle and mortar, an essential tool for crafting potions. Moreover, you can use Grimy Herbs to create unfinished potions, which not only rewards you with additional herb cleaning experience but can also be sold for profit.
For those who have completed the Desert Diaries, there’s an even better way to create unfinished potions. Zahur in Nardah can craft them for just 200 coins each, making it a cost-effective option, especially for ironman accounts.
With your newfound expertise in Herblore, you can continue to create high-level potions and make a name for yourself in the OSRS community. Remember, the sky’s the limit when it comes to what you can achieve with your skills and knowledge.
