Warface

This is a free-to-play online first-person shooter, from Crytek and publisher My.com, a subsidiary of Russian Mail.ru Group, focused on the western market. The game was created by three teams: Crytek Kiev, Crytek Seoul, and Crytek UK. The game uses the power of Crytek’s own engine - CryEngine 3. Initially, the game was aimed at the Asian market but was also released in the west.

The game features more than two hundred weapons: from the vintage Mosin rifle to modern models like the Bushmaster BA50. There are no licenses for thorough weapon replication, but virtual models are based on real prototypes. All weapons can be modified. The game has four main classes: Sniper, Rifleman, Engineer, and Medic. Each has its own distinctiveness and unique gameplay: Medic, for example, is an exceptionally supportive class, which can bring back to life the fallen soldiers.

There are two main opposing groups in the game: Warface and Blackwood. The first is a private military organization that opposes the attempts of the latter to seize control of resources around the world, sell weapons and stops the killing of civilians. The game has many thematic events thanks to which game's lore is developing.
